Collage
Privacy Policy
Collage does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers. Everything the app does happens on your device.
The short version
Collage runs entirely on your iPhone. The videos you import, the edits you make, the music you choose, and the collages you export never leave your device. Polyrhythm Labs, Inc. never sees them — because there is nowhere for them to go. Collage has no backend.
Information we collect
None. Collage collects no personal information, no usage data, and no device identifiers. There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile.
Collage's App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected, and the app ships with a privacy manifest that declares no tracking and no collected data types.
How your content is handled
- Videos. When you add a clip, Collage accesses it through the system photo picker. The clip is transcoded into a temporary working file kept in the app's private, on-device storage and used only to build your collage. These working files are temporary.
- Music. If you add a soundtrack, Collage reads the song you pick from your Apple Music library, on your device, only to mix it into the preview and export.
- Exports. When you export, the finished video is written to your Photos library on your device. You decide if and when to do this.
At no point is any of this content uploaded, backed up to our servers, or shared with us or any third party. Collage makes no network requests with your content.
Permissions Collage asks for
- Photo Library (read) — to let you pick videos for your collage.
- Photo Library (add) — to save finished collages back to your Photos.
- Apple Music & Media Library — only if you choose to add a song as a soundtrack.
You can review or change these any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or Settings → Collage. Collage keeps working with whatever you allow.
Third parties
Collage contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA), and nothing in the app tracks you across other apps or websites.
Children's privacy
Collage collects no information from anyone, including children. It contains no accounts and no social features. It is not directed at children under 13, but it is safe to use at any age.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Because Collage collects nothing today, any future change involving data collection would be opt-in and clearly disclosed before it took effect.
