Collage
Support
Collage is built by Polyrhythm Labs, a small independent studio. If something is not working or you have an idea, we want to hear it.
Email support@twostepapp.com — we read every message. To help us help you fast, include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when the problem happened.
Requirements
- iPhone 11 or newer
- iOS 26 or later
- Enough free storage for the videos you import and export
Quick start
- Pick a layout. Choose one of five templates — Single, Stack of 2, Stack of 3, 2 Top / 1 Bottom, or 1 Top / 2 Bottom.
- Fill a slot. Tap an empty slot to open the photo picker, then choose a video. It is placed at a clean fit.
- Reframe. Use two fingers to pan and zoom a clip inside its slot. What you see is exactly what will export.
- Adjust a clip. Tap a filled slot for Trim, Replace, Remove, and Reset framing.
- Swap slots. Long-press a slot and drag it onto another to swap the two clips.
- Add a soundtrack. In the Audio section, pick a song from your Apple Music library, or try auto audio sync (beta).
- Preview and export. Tap Preview to play the collage through, then Export to render it to your Photos library.
Common questions
A slot won't fill, or the picker won't open
Collage needs read access to your photo library. Open Settings → Collage and make sure Photos access is enabled.
My export doesn't show up in Photos
Collage needs permission to add to your photo library, and your device needs free storage. Check Settings → Collage, then try the export again.
A clip looks cropped or zoomed in
That is the slot framing. Use two fingers to pan and zoom the clip inside its slot, or tap the slot and choose Reset framing to return it to a clean fit.
The collage ends sooner than I expected
A collage plays through to the end of the shortest trimmed clip. Trim your longer clips down, or extend the short one, so they line up.
Auto audio sync lined a clip up incorrectly
Auto audio sync is a beta feature. Use the per-clip single-frame nudge to fine-tune it, or revert that clip. Re-trimming a clip clears its sync, so sync after trimming.
The video has no sound after I added music
That is expected. When you add a soundtrack, Collage mutes the audio from your video clips so the song plays on its own.
The app feels slow on an older iPhone
On iPhone 11 and 12, a live three-clip preview may drop to 15 fps to stay smooth. Your exported video still renders at the full 30 fps.
Known limitations
- Collages export as 9:16 portrait video only.
- A collage holds one to three clips.
- Auto audio sync is a beta feature and may need manual nudging.
- Export saves to your Photos library — there is no Share Sheet or Files export yet.
Privacy
Collage collects no data and runs entirely on your device. See the privacy policy for the full details.
